CASEY --     The Premier Fastpitch 14U place second at the Premier Fright Fest hosted by Casey, IL on Sunday, October 21, 2014.

Premier Fastpitch 14U best Champaign Select in shootout, 11-8

The bats were busy at Premier Fastpitch Fright Fest, Casey, IL on Sunday, and when the dust cleared Premier Fastpitch 14U had an 11-8 win over Champaign Select in seven innings.

There were 26 hits, including five extra base hits in the game.

Makayla Reedy boosted her batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace Premier Fastpitch 14U. She singled in the third and fifth innings and homered in the sixth inning.

Makenzie Morgan got the win for Premier Fastpitch 14U despite allowing eight runs over seven innings. Makenzie Morgan struck out three, walked six and gave up 11 hits.

Premier Fastpitch 14U didn't relinquish the lead after scoring one run in the second inning when it scored on an RBI single by Makenzie Ruppert.

Premier Fastpitch 14U scored one run in the third inning, and then followed it up with one more in the seventh. In the third, Premier Fastpitch 14U scored on a wild pitch, scoring Makayla.

After pushing across one run in the bottom of the fourth, Champaign Select faced just a 5-2 deficit. An RBI single by Frankie Izard fueled Champaign Select's comeback. Makenzie Morgan ended the inning by getting Kelly Smith to fly out.

Premier Fastpitch 14U piled on three more runs in the top of the fifth. Lindsay Beasley doubled, bringing home Makayla and Karsyn Voris to start the inning. That was followed up by Maddison Stanley's single, bringing home Makenzie Morgan. 

Premier Fastpitch 14U survives Wabash Valley Sharks rally, escapes with 7-6 victory

Wabash Valley Sharks wasn't able to come back from the big hole it dug itself into against Premier Fastpitch 14U, and Wabash Valley Sharks lost 7-6 to Premier Fastpitch 14U after falling behind by six runs in the fifth inning.

Wabash Valley Sharks scored on a steal of home by Laney Gowin in the fifth inning and an RBI double by Camryn Scott in the sixth inning. Despite its efforts, Wabash Valley Sharks couldn't get over the hump.

Abbey Walsh had two extra-base hits for Premier Fastpitch 14U. She singled in the third inning and doubled in the second and fifth innings.

Kadelyn Daily got the win for Premier Fastpitch 14U despite allowing six runs over six innings. Kadelyn struck out two, walked two and gave up eight hits.

Premier Fastpitch 14U's Abbey, Karsyn Voris and Emma Ross combined for eight hits and four RBIs.

Hannah Lewis ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. She allowed seven runs in six innings, walked two and struck out three.

In the bottom of the first, Wabash Valley Sharks grabbed the early lead, 1-0.

Premier Fastpitch 14U stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the third, scoring four runs on an RBI double by Mariah Clark and two singles.

Premier Fastpitch 14U piled on two more runs in the top of the fourth. Karsyn's single got things going, scoring Emma. 

Premier Fastpitch 14U tops Gators 2000 in back-and-forth affair, 5-3

Premier Fastpitch 14U and Gators 2000 passed the lead back and forth four times on Sunday at Premier Fastpitch Fright Fest, Casey, IL, but in the end Premier Fastpitch 14U pulled out a 5-3 win in five innings over Gators 2000.

Premier Fastpitch 14U finally managed to grab the lead after a strong third inning. Premier Fastpitch 14U went up for good on a two-run home run by Mariah Clark off Karra Leigh McCameron, scoring Makenzie Morgan.

Mariah racked up three RBIs on one hit for Premier Fastpitch 14U.

Mariah got the win for Premier Fastpitch 14U. She allowed three runs over five innings. She struck out one, walked one and surrendered eight hits.

Karra Leigh was charged with the loss. She lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.

Gators 2000 jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first. Jordyn Nickels started the rally for Gators 2000 with a double. A single by Kristina Green then moved Jordyn from second to third. The scoreboard lit up again for Gators 2000 when Green scored on an error.

Premier Fastpitch 14U answered Gators 2000's top inning with two runs of its own in the first. Premier Fastpitch 14U scored on a sacrifice fly by Maddison Stanley and a sacrifice fly by Mariah.
