Finck commits to Murray State

(MATTOON, Ill.) Brenna Finck of the Premier Fastpitch Black 16U team and a senior at Maroa-Forsyth High School has verbally committed to Murray State in Kentucky.

Finck played shortstop for PF Black and Maroa-Forsyth’s Trojan Softball Team. She earned Illinois Coaches Association’s 2A Second Team honors as a junior and First Team All Conference. As a sophomore she was Second Team All-County; Second Team All-State; First Team All-Conference.

As a junior in high school, Finck hit .534 in 31 games with 25 RBIs, after racking up a .535 average with 25 RBIs in 21 games as a sophomore.

She also lettered in basketball and volleyball.

Finck plays summer ball for Coaches Kristi and Dan Paulson. Premier Fastpitch team placed seventh at ASA 16U Gold Nationals in Oklahoma and second at the Illinois ASA State Tournament this year. The team also had a fifth place finish at the TCS Firecracker Tournament in Colorado.

From Maroa (Ill.), she is the daughter of Selina and Nicholas Finck.
